Biography<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Peder Mannerfelt splits the difference between playful immediacy and daring experimentation. You\u2019re as likely to find him premiering a live show at Berlin\u2019s Atonal Festival<\/a> as pulling apart fabled techno meccas from Berghain to Fabric with synapse-frying precision. One minute he\u2019s being asked to remix Bj\u00f6rk, and the next he\u2019s dropping EPs of non-conformist techno for Karenn\u2019s Voam label<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a prolific collaborator throughout his career, Mannerfelt has veered from the orchestral tension of Roll The Dice<\/a> (with Malcolm Pardon) to the anything-goes maximalism of Aasthma<\/a> (with P\u00e4r Grindvik). As a producer, he\u2019s worked on every one of Fever Ray\u2019s acclaimed albums and live shows, as well as projects from alt music heavyweights such as Smerz<\/a>, Blonde Redhead <\/a>and Glasser<\/a>. His Peder Mannerfelt Produktions<\/a> label has become another outlet for his singular approach, presenting his work alongside similarly experimental operators like Sissel Wincent<\/a>, Machine Woman<\/a>, Klara Lewis<\/a> and Hodge<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n
