Tlamatinime: “those who know something” 🌓”those who know things”, term used to define a type of savant in pre-Hispanic culture.
Elirrealveintiuno: “elirreal” proper name used to define the haziest musical occultist and visual alchemist of the moment.
El Irreal Veintiuno is the musical project of Bryan Dálvez, a producer and visual designer from the State of Mexico, currently based in Mexico City. His work is known for its fusion of traditional Latin American rhythms with experimental electronic music, creating a unique sound that bridges the past and the future.
Dálvez’s music often incorporates elements of tribal guarachero, dembow, cumbia, footwork, and hardcore, blending them with contemporary club sounds to explore new sonic territories. His EP Poliformo, released on Subreal, exemplifies this approach by combining pre-Hispanic rhythms and Nahuatl vocals with distorted electronic beats, resulting in a sound that is both rooted in tradition and forward-thinking.
Between percussive sounds of sacred dye🫀; hardcore tribal, ceremonial techno and deconstructed Mesoamerican funk🧩, be prepared to enter their disconcerting rite of earthly unbinding.
